Anyone that can supply information, images or history in relation to WILLIAM  ALFRED LUMSDEN, 1820 - 1891, married EMMA CATHERINE STRONG, 1820 - 1891, and descending relatives, I would be pleased to hear from and swap information
Would also like to find out a little more regarding  " Aunt Nell ",

I am a descenant of William Alfred Lumsden.

My understanidng is that he was a botanist and died in the Rimutaka ranges naming plants. I believe that there is some information in the family about him.
I am descendant through John Robert Lumsden.
I would appreciate any information that you may have that we can add to the tree.
